CCCA holds regular national roundtables to meet together, discuss, initiative, and achieve results for Chinese Australian community sectors around Australia.
CCCA has been organising large scale conferences, community campaigns, supporting projects and publishing public messages or key issues.

To advocate and represent the interests of the Chinese community Public policies (Health, Immigration, Education, Foreign Affairs, etc.)
Access and equity issues in the provision of government services
Anti-racism and racial vilification
To recognise and promote the aspirations and achievements of individuals or organisations in Chinese community (public recognition - awards, etc.)
To foster a spirit of cooperation and harmony among Chinese community organisations; including a role for community mediation when requested. Unity on the basis of common Australian interests.
To practice and embrace a cultural diverse and social cohesive society (support an Australian multicultural society and foster links with other culturally diverse community and their organisations).
